These terms govern your use of Hooman Book, operated by Chau Apps Company Limited (“we”, “us”). By using the app or website, you agree to them.

Not a crisis or medical service

Hooman Book is for growth, reflection, and companionship. It is not a substitute for professional medical, mental-health, legal, or financial advice, and it is not an emergency service. If you are in crisis or danger, contact local emergency services or a crisis line.

Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use Hooman Book.

Your content

You retain ownership of the messages you send. You grant us a limited licence to process and store them to operate and improve the service, as described in our Privacy Policy.

Acceptable use

• Don’t use the service for anything illegal, harmful, or abusive.
• Don’t attempt to use companions for sexual content involving minors, harassment, or to harm others.
• Don’t disrupt, reverse-engineer, or abuse the service or its infrastructure.

AI disclaimer

Companions are AI. They can be wrong, biased, or incomplete, and their messages are not professional advice. Use your own judgment.

Intellectual property

The app, its design, the companions, and related content are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by law.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these terms. You may stop using the service at any time.

Disclaimers & liability

The service is provided “as is”, without warranties. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Vietnam, with disputes subject to the competent courts of Ho Chi Minh City.
